Intensive research in our own quality-controlled production chain, from composting and mushroom growing to extraction, has produced extensive knowledge of the factors responsible for the specific taste-enhancing properties of our mushroom extract.

High umami intensity

As we manage every link of the production chain ourselves, we have optimised all these factors, resulting in Kingusto: a water-soluble, natural, clean-label mushroom-extract concentrate with high umami intensity.

Sustainable product

Kingusto is obtained from the cooking juices extracted from the mushrooms grown by the Peffer Group. These cooking juices – cooking juices that would otherwise have a non-food destination – are the basis of Kingusto. By using several innovative and sustainable techniques, we have upgraded the juices to produce Kingusto, which means that Kingusto is a fully sustainable product.
